Youth Program

Our youth program is a dynamic, supportive space where young members of our community can learn, grow, and connect with their heritage. This program is designed to engage youth in meaningful activities that encourage personal development, cultural pride, and leadership skills, while also fostering a strong sense of belonging within the community. Through a diverse lineup of workshops, events, and mentorship opportunities, our youth program empowers participants to explore their identities, build friendships, and develop skills that will serve them throughout their lives.

Leadership Development and Life Skills

A key component of our youth program is leadership development. We provide workshops and activities that focus on critical life skills, such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and decision-making. Through hands-on experiences like organizing events, leading team projects, and participating in community service, young people learn how to take initiative and work collaboratively. Our leadership program helps build confidence and prepares them to become active, compassionate leaders who can positively impact their community.

Cultural Heritage and Language Connection

Our youth program places a strong emphasis on connecting young people with their cultural roots. We offer activities that explore Kurdish history, music,  and art, allowing participants to experience the richness of Kurdish heritage. For those interested, we provide Kurdish language classes tailored to youth, helping them learn basic phrases, greetings, and conversational skills. By engaging with the language and culture, young people develop a sense of pride in their heritage and deepen their understanding of what it means to be Kurdish.
